As you know I have just been introduced to the world of Highlighting and Contouring. I recently purchased the Kat Von D shade light palette which I love BUT if I had one complaint it would be that all the highlighting shades are matte. As much as I love matte highlighters I found myself wishing that I had shimmer ones on days when I wanted a luminous finish. So I found myself at Sephora yet again! My two main choices were the Too Faced Candlelight Glow and the Becca shimmering skin perfector in the shade Opal. I sought the opinion of one of the associates there and she told me ‘Once you go Becca you don’t go back’ and I must say it is true my friends!
Opal is a beautiful champagne colour that easily compliments many skintones. Where as some highlighters can accentuate pores this highlighter does not. It is VERY pigmented. One dab of my brush in the powder is more than enough! The picture above is just one swipe. The look is absolutely gorgeous on the face. Perfect amount of shimmer. This highlighter though it is in powder form, when put on the face it gives a wet look as if I used a liquid highlighter which is simply stunning!
If you don’t own this highlighter you have to go out and change that! You NEED this! HG of highlighters. I look forward to buying it in Rose Gold as well!
