Long ago there was a land cursed with darkness and rain. The people of the land were punished unjustly by the queen of shadows. Seeing this, the Goddess of the Sun called forth an army to banish the evil from the land. Each one of her soldiers had a handheld Gold compact which held a piece of her beloved Sun.
Ok, Ok enough with the theatrics! Lets all take a moment to appreciate how absolutely gorgeous Too Faced Sun Bunny bronzer is. I mean it blew me away so much that I wanted to write a whole story around it!
I recently picked this up at the grand opening of highstreet Sephora in Abbotsford. I was choosing between sun bunny or beach bunny and one of the sales associates steered me towards sun bunny. Apparently beach bunny can look greyish if applied to much but sun bunny always offers the perfect sunkissed look which was exactly what I was going for. So I bought it, took it out of the store and when I came to swatch it on the back of my hand it didn’t swatch so well! I thought to myself well great how will this apply to my face and was instantly disappointed thinking this is going to be an exchange.
When I got around to trying it I swirled and swirled my brush like crazy in the bronzer…then I applied it to my face and BAM I looked like an oompa loompa! WOW this bronzer is pigmented!! I thought that since it swatched poorly on the back of my hand that it would be the same on my face but that is not the case at all! This bronzer is hands down the best bronzer I have ever owned. Its not orange or to brown. It doesn’t cause you to look muddy even with a little to much applied. Its smooth and doesn’t apply chalky. I also get a full days wear with it. If you’re looking for a way to get that ‘I just got back from a wonderful tropical vacation’ glow, this bronzer is your answer it gives you the warmth of a hundred suns!
