Cause it’s all about those lashes, bout those lashes..
Lets get into the smack down between Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara and Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real mascara! I have been super duper curious about these mascaras since reading reviews on them but couldn’t justify spending $30 on mascara! Nor could I even justify buying the sample size ones. Honestly I’m that girl that just doesn’t get spending a whole crap load on eyeliner and mascara so I just never caved into purchasing them but my curiosity ate at me everytime I walked past these products in Sephora! So I was ecstatic when these came out as samples you could put your points towards!
Taking the stage first we have Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real mascara. Now there is sooooooo much hype around this mascara. So many awesome reviews I was most excited to try this one out.

NOT a true story! In my case at least I was so amazingly disappointed with this product! My lashes did not look any different than when I used my ELF volumizing mascara! In fact I like the elf one better. I was expecting the bristles to be big to give the effect it claims to give but the bristles are actually quite small. My lashes were not volumized nor lengthened with this mascara at all. I dont know if I applied it wrong or what the story is but Benefit They’re Real you are a thumbs down for me and I so wanted to love you. However one of my girlfriends swear by this mascara so I guess don’t knock it till you try it, but it just wasn’t for me.

Ding, Ding, Ding we have a winner!!! Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is AMAZING! You know how I said I’m that girl that can’t justify buying a $30 mascara. Well people change my friends cause I will definitely be repurchasing this when my sample has run out! Can someone say VOLUME! My lashes look thicker, longer and they’re not lying when they say the most intense, black lashes!I don’t have the time or frankly the patience to apply false lashes I mean my makeup routine takes a long time as it is and I’ve got 3 kids that I have to get ready after myself so this mascara is a God Send!

OMG! I feel the same way as you! I tried They’re Real and felt my L’Oreal Telescopic was just as good. Then, I tried BTS and fell in love with it! I think it’s definitelly worth the $23!
Right! I still don’t get what everyone is talking about. I’m curious to try their new roller lash one too but the brush reminds me of the they’re real brush not sure if it’ll be a hit with me..
