Blueberry-packed maintenance mask

Prevent disasters by taking regular care of your skin with our deep-cleansing, nutrient-rich blueberry mask. The little blue bulbs are packed with vitamins, and blended into calamine, rose absolute and chamomile blue oil to soothe redness, irritation and cleanse the skin without stripping it of its natural oils. This one is wonderfully soothing on sensitive skin. Treat your face to Catastrophe Cosmetic as often as you can to keep your skin looking its best.

Catastrophe Cosmetic is the third face mask I have tried by LUSH and the second fresh face mask I’ve tried. It is much gentler than Brazened Honey which I’d say is the totally opposite to this face mask. Brazened Honey was super abrasive and very deep cleansing. Catastrophe Cosmetic was not at all abrasive. In fact I don’t think its meant for exfoliating at all.

I tend to have redness around my nose area and this mask did a great job at banishing the redness. Personally I don’t have sensitive skin but really wanted to try this face mask out. This face mask left my skin feeling moisturized, smooth and soft but I didn’t feel as though it did a good enough job deep cleansing it. Maybe it has to do with the non exfoliating aspect of it but I wouldn’t not recommend it to someone with my skin type which is that of combination to oily skin because whereas other face masks such as Brazened Honey and Mask of Magnaminty you could use 1 to 2 times a week, Catastrophe Cosmetic you could use 3 to 4 times a week or even everyday  because of how gentle and non abrasive the product is so technically it could be used as an everyday cleanser for less sensitive skin.

Overall  I enjoyed this fresh face mask and would repurchase it cause everyone knows I love me some blueberries 🙂
