Summer brings out my extra oily T-zone. Who else can relate?! I’ve been using LUSH’s Angels on Bare Skin which as you all know I have come to love! But LUSH has so many cleansers that when I ran out of my usual I wanted to try something new! I told the lady at LUSH that my complexion has been more oily due to the summer heat and she quickly recommended Dark Angels to me.
The lady at LUSH (I should take note of the persons name helping me next time) just happened to have the same skin type as me, combo to oily, and she too has been experiencing more oil. Just like I she uses Angels on Bare Skin on a daily basis but during the summer months she switches it out for Dark Angels to help keep her more matte.

Dark Angels is a ‘Velvety black sugar cleanser’. Black sugar and charcoal gently exfoliate and absorb excess oils to leave dull, oily or acne-prone skin feeling fresh and matte. Its rhassoul mud base deep-cleanses to help prevent breakouts while vitamin rich cold-pressed organic avocado oil nourishes skin to leave it soft and lightly hydrated. When it comes to exfoliating products my face can’t handle anything to abrasive or I find that my face becomes irritated and usually turns red with breakouts. Dark Angels isn’t to abrasive. It’s gentle and soft and I am more than comfortable using this as a daily cleanser. It truly has helped with the excess oil and I will be using this all summer long! I see myself switching back to Angels on Bare Skin in the winter months because I find thats when I’m most dry and my face yearns for more hydration.
And FYI ladies Dark Angels and all of LUSH’s products aren’t just for us women they are great for men to! I’ve caught my hubby sneaking to use my Dark Angels cleanser. He to has oily skin (more so than me) that tends to break out and has also come to love Dark Angels!
So take your hubby along to LUSH with you, say your shopping to keep his handsome face looking HOT he might just let you buy a thing or two 😉
