LUSH Samples :)

Boy have I become a LUSHIE! I remember walking into LUSH and feeling so overwhelmed by everything that I would turn around and walk right back out. Its so great that LUSH offers freebie samples to customers like myself or I probably never would have gotten so addicted to their products. Come to think of it is it so fantastic? (My hubby and wallet don’t seem to think so ;))

Herbalism

Herbal cleanser for troubled skin

Battling with oily, blemish-prone skin? Cleanse with Herbalism and experience the power of herbs. Its gently exfoliating, deep-cleansing base of kaolin clay and rice bran mops up excess oils, and a toning blend of rosemary, nettle and chamomile leaves skin feeling fresh, clean and calm. This gentle green giant contains chlorophyllin, which is extracted from alfalfa plants: it’s rich in nourishing vitamins and minerals, and helps to balance out your skin’s oil production. Say hello to clear, balanced skin!

This cleanser has the same consistency as that of Angels on Bare Skin. Its much less scrubby then Dark Angels and yet I feel that it is a stronger cleanser. This cleanser kept me more matte than Angels on Bare Skin and even Dark Angels! I could see myself alternating between Herbalism and Dark Angels this summer. I would use Herbalism when I want a less abrasive feel to my cleanser and Dark Angels when I’m looking for that sandy exfoliating feeling. If you ask me which one I prefer out of the two I really cant tell ya! Both are wonderful and perform in different ways. My best advice is to go in and try them out yourself to see which works best with your skin type.

Enzymion

Mattifying fruit moisturizer

If your face is predominantly oily in your T-zone, Enzymion is the moisturizer for you! An incredible blend of astringent citrus fruits like papaya and lemon, Enzymion mops up excess oils and literally cleanses your face of dead skin and debris built up throughout the day. Nutrient-rich avocado and evening primrose oils replenish essential vitamins and minerals. We recommend pairing Enzymion with our refreshing sea salt scrub, Ocean Salt. The result? Skin that glows from the inside out.

Enzymion is a light moisturizer that gets absorbed by your skin quickly. I really enjoyed this moisturizer. It wasn’t thick or creamy nor did it leave me oily. It was refreshing and made my face feel soft and smooth. I think it would be awesome for someone who suffers from super oily skin.

Have you tried Herbalism or Enzymion? What are your favourite cleaners and moisturizers?
