All Eyes On Me

They say the eyes are the windows to your soul. Hi loves! It’s been a little over a week since I’ve blogged and I apologize! I bring to you today a review on Nyx Cosmetics Jumbo eye pencil in milk, Felt tip liner, Elf liquid liner and Wet n wilds mega eyes pen liner.

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this but I absoulutely suck at applying liquid eyeliner. I cannot for the life of me do a proper winged liner look! ( and I’ve practised and practised) I started out with the Elf liquid liner, then people told me using a pen style was easier so I tried out wet n wilds mega eyes pen liner. I am horrible at both of them haha! I actually thought that the elf liquid liner was easier to work with because it was more liquidy and fluid. I felt like the wet n wild one was dry and didn’t allow me to create a fluid line as well.

This is the packaging of the elf (top) and wet n wild (bottom) liners.

Swatches of them side by side. Elf on the left and wet n wild on the right.
I will say that the elf one did smudge you really have to wait till it fully dries before you blink or anything or it will get all over! The wet n wild one did not smudge and barley budged.
Moving on to NYX felt tip liner. Compared to the wet n wild one I enjoy the NYX one better. The consistency is more wet and allowed for easier application. Great longevity and also does not smudge. I also like the tip of the NYX liner than that of the wet n wild.

All the lines above were made with the NYX liner 🙂
If I had to choose between the 3 liners I actually prefer the ELF one. It was easier to pull across my eye. The only downfall is the drying time.
Now on to NYX jumbo eye pencil in milk. I have heard so many great reviews on this pencil when used as a base and I have to say that I agree! It’s easy to work with, creamy, pigmented, blends out well, and truly makes your eyeshadow a pop. What I don’t like about it is the packaging. Since it’s all plastic I’m wondering how I am going to sharpen this pencil when the time comes..

 That’s all for now!

Until next time Lippies.

Would I just sharpen it as usual? Cause there’s no wood it’s all plastic..
