It’s my birthday month! Actually it just passed on February 3rd and one of the beauty items from my birthday Sephora haul was the Anastasia Beverly Hills cream contour kit in Medium.
This palette is beautiful. As soon as I opened it I wanted to swatch away but I had to stop myself to take some pretty pics for all of you loves before hand!
This palette comes with 2 highlight shades one colour correcting and 3 contour shades. For myself I could really only use the banana shade to highlight as the Cream shade worked more as a concealer for me. Cinnamon was way to warm on my skin tone to be a contour shade but it made a good transition colour. My shade of choice to contour with was the shade chocolate.
The creams are smooth, pigmented and glide on to the skin well. They also blend out beautifully with ease. I did however find that the cream enhanced some dry spots and I did end up exchanging this palette for something else after a week of playing around with it.
With that being said don’t write this palette off your list! I suggest going out and buying it and trying it out for yourself. The problems I faced with the creams may not happen to you. I really wish that I could have kept it but it just didn’t work well with my skin 🙁
Until next time Lippies

My sister also told me my contour looks more on point with powder 😉 also cream is just so much work and you still ha e to set it with powder so it’s like double the work! Thanks I had a wonderful birthday :))
I just bought this in light and have been really liking it. I wish I could get that dark reddish tone though!
Definitely a gorgeous palette, I have two but not for dry skin at all and it is a bit of a chalky formula. I add Josie Maran oil to it and that fixed the problems for me ! 🙂

I heard people putting oil on the kit but I never tried it myself. I actually have combo to oily skin. Oily in the t zone so I was surprised to find that it clung to dry areas as I’m not usually dry. Maybe if I ever repurchase I will get an oil as well 🙂
