It’s FALL one of my favourite seasons of the year! One of the Fall activities that we do as a family every year is visiting the Pumpkin Patch. With so many farms to choose from, I decided to round-up the 5 Best Pumpkin Patches in the Fraser Valley! Read on to find out why each of these Pumpkin Patches are a must visit for the season!
1. Aldor Acres Farm
Aldor Acres is located in Langley and has been our favourite Pumpkin Patch to visits for 8 years now! Where most farms have a grass field with pre-picked pumpkins scattered around, Aldo Acres has you picking pumpkins right from their pumpkin patch! Some pumpkins are still attached to the vine! We love the authentic experience that we get coming to this farm. Aldor Acres also has a petting zoo, hay rides and SO many picture opportunities! You can find all you need to know about the farm here.
2. Taves Farms
Taves Farm is located in Abbotsford and has so many different Fall attractions to enjoy! From a Zipline, pedal karts, apple picking, corn gun and pumpkin cannon there’s something for the entire family to do. Some of their pumpkins weigh as much as 50 pounds and are perfect for that professional pumpkin carver in you! Learn more about Taves Farms here.
3. Rondriso Farms
Rondriso Farms is located in Surrey and is one of our favourite local farms to visit every year. Rondriso Farm is a traditional family farm that raises cattle and pesticide-free produce. They take you on hayride to their pumpkin patch and the field is adorned with a variety of different types of pumpkins! From your everyday pumpkin, to the cinderella pumpkin and ghost pumpkin you can pick any of these from the field! This is also my favourite spot to pick up some mini pumpkins for decor ideas around the house. You can learn more about Rondriso Farms here.
4. Maan Farms
Maan Farms is located in Abbotsford and we had the pleasure of being invited to their Sunflower festival this August. The Maan Family was so welcoming to all of their guests and made you feel like you were part of their family. We visited the pumpkin patch a couple of years ago when the kids were a lot younger and we loved the Barnyard Adventure attraction where the kids can get to know some of the animals and run free on their playground! If you’re looking for a truly terrifying Halloween experience be sure to checkout the “Haunted” corn maze. Learn more about Maan Farms here.
5. Port Kells Nurseries Pumpkin Patch
Port Kells Nurseries is another pumpkin patch located right here in Surrey. We visit Port Kells Pumpkin Patch every year during the girls annual pumpkin patch field trip at school! From an indoor hay maze, goat palace, to a spooky haunted house this little pumpkin patch is a must visit with the family. Learn more about the attractions at Port Kells pumpkin patch here.
